Boosted boards have a huge amount of torque and accelleration to pull uphills at speed and control to a stop. This power comes from Boosted's brushless DC (BLDC) motor belt drive system.
This kit comes with 2 High Torque Power replacment belts which have an abrasive resistant cover to help reduce noise, a glass fibre tensile member to provice high strength and virtually no stretch, a meshing of the teeth to prevent belt slip and speed variations to ensure prefect synchronisation and positive drive.
Boosted board belt replacement is highly recommended to maintain quick acceleration and braking.

Replacement of the bearings in your Boosted board are also highly recommended as over time they will wear out and slow you down over time.
A tel tale sign of wear is louder than normal noise while riding, slower cruising speeds and play in your wheels.
The bearings we have selected for this kit are made by a company in California which offer the best cross between performance and durability.

They have low friction seals with marine grade lubricant (to keep water out).

High precision balls which are within 10/1,000,000″ round, twice as round as the industry standard, at it’s highest level.

Vacuum de-gassed process for the purest chromium alloy steel, hardened to R-62, extremely tough and very durable. Polished to a mirror finish for ABEC-3 precision and noiseless movement.

We recommend replacing these parts once a year (or 2 yearly) on your Boosted board (depending on use) to keep it running as its optimim performance.
